Buffalo Japan has announced its new HDS-PXU2 portable hard drive that comes with AES 256-bit encryption to secure your data. It also offers protection against knocks and bumps, thanks to the internal shock absorbing mechanism. The Buffalo-HDS PXU2 available in 320GB, 500GB and 1TB, uses a USB 2.0 interface, it has a built-in USB cable and comes with preloaded with Secure Lock Manager and Eco Manager software.

Buffalo Portable Hard Drive HDS-PXU2 with AES 256-bit encryption is expected to be released later this month with a price of 14,600 yen, 18,000 yen and 27,400 yen, respectively.
